Smoking patio
Chalk walls. The spiral stair keeps going up to the courts.
Spaces
The House. The courts.
The stairs are Eagle. Second floor, The House — the bar. Third floor, the courts. Four of them, and a bar.
01
The House
Second floor. This is the bar. This is Eagle.
Vaulted beams, an arched bar, a pool table, a DJ who already knows the room. Leather Pride with Mexico and Canada. Cruise if the night says so. After the early window the door is 100. The card walks past it.
Red knows the room in the back.
Cinema
A dark, intimate room inside The House. The cinema is for sex — negotiated, watched, wanted. Consent is the rule: ask, listen, stop. Phones stay in your pocket.
02
The courts
Third floor. Four pickleball courts and a bar. This is what we call it.
Secret Pickleball Association plays here. It's Eagle. Girls play too.
